The Harvest Powell label has already won 17 Industry related awards in Australia, and she has been handpicked by European car company ASTON MARTIN to use her couture exclusively for a luxe launch in New York City.
After capturing significant attention and accolades from the Australian fashion market, Powell has been officially named one of the top three fashion designers in Queensland and has recently expanded
her operations to Melbourne.
Powell won a whopping 7 industry related awards in the first year of her degree, then followed that up by becoming the first fashion graduate in 20 years to be
nominated for the Australian Training Awards, which she won at state
and national levels.
Online pre sales of garments are causing consumer furor - selling out within minutes. If this is anything to go by - Shops around the world will be storming down her door
in no time.
Powell's ready to wear line was invited to feature in last years Fashion Exposed trade show in Melbourne and by all accounts, it looks like we are going to be seeing a lot more of her work in the future.
The show opened with a light and sound display that wowed the audience. The Harvest Powell ready-to-wear line of womenswear draws its inspiration from a wide net of pop-culture and historical sources.
Her first love is couture, and it shows in her ready-to-wear collections- classic lines and effortless city elegance, perfect for
stylish Fashion Lovers. Keep an eye out for the work of this designer , Harvest Powell looks set to go a long way in a very short time.
